This was a great race! As an amateur runner, I didn't know what to expect, but Wade Clark, and those who helped put on the run, made it a wonderful experience. There was great community support, runner support, and everything was very smooth. Also, the course was beautiful! Running next to the elk ranch, through wheat fields, and alongside the reservoir made for fantastic scenery. This was a great, memorable run and I would definitely recommend it to any caliber of runner.

I have never been to a more enjoyable half marathon! My family and I have been involved in a variety of running events; from relay events such as the Hood to Coast, to half marathons in Boise and several more in Oregon. We have also participated in over a dozen marathons, including the Boston Marathon. We found this event to be a favorite because of the small town atmosphere and the personal touch we received from the organizers and the volunteers. We have never been treated so well! We will be back and have invited our friends to come with us next year. Thanks Nock the Rock!!!

It has been over a year since I participated in the Nock the Rock run, and my husband and I still talk about it frequently. What an experience! The scenery is unmatched. We ran through an elk ranch, on a jeep trail through fields, along a lake, and surrounded by gorgeous Idaho landscape. There was also a small town feel that I haven't experienced anywhere else. The race participants and volunteers made the run a memorable one. I have run in many different locations, but this one is still on the top of the list. I can't wait to do it again!
